Silkee Smoove, A TIMELESS SOUND! Home-based in the heart of tourism, Orlando Florida, but will travel! Silkee Smoove has successfully evolved into one of the East Coast's premier Wedding/Party entertainment packages. Created in 2009 to appeal to large and diverse audiences, Silkee Smoove's extensive repertoire embraces the very best of Motown, Dance, Rhythm and Blues, Classic Soul, Top 40's, Smooth Jazz, Covers and more.

Silkee Smoove is a 8 to12 piece band, consisting of rhythm section, sax and trumpet with 4/5 wonderful vocalists. We also can provide percussion at the request of clients, as well as a string quartet for your ceremony and/or cocktail hour! The chemistry between our members comes from 8 years of experience together, creating an on-stage energy that captures the essence of the music you love to hear.

All the members of our band are veteran musicians; some having performed for audiences throughout the world. Though our vast repertoire targets the baby-boomer generation, our high-energy format has demonstrated its appeal to all age groups! They make your wedding!

If you hear the band makes the party... it’s true! The one thing everyone talked about days, weeks, months after was the band. Silkee Smoove isn’t just a band, they are pure professionals! They get out with people, get people up dancing, they get them singing and involved! Everyone has a great time! They work with you to make sure everything is perfect, dress impeccably and sound like the artist who did the original song! Their list of song is incredible, every great song you can imagine and more, they know it!

My husband Geoff and I were married in 2011 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. We had a sneaker tropical storm (technically a hurricane with 81 mph winds) show up that threw everything into chaos. Tents broke + flew away, our location was completely flooded, we had to move the location 4 hours before the ceremony. Good times.

Silkee Smoove was a shining beacon of awesomeness amongst the craziness. They rolled with it all like pros and crammed their set up into a much smaller space than we'd originally planned for. They made our wedding incredible. People danced all night. The music was phenomenal. I honestly can't say enough nice things here. They are THE BEST.

From the first point of contact, way back when, Angella + Mike were so easy to chat with — even from afar (we live in San Francisco). We still keep in touch and my Florida-based family tries to get to their gigs whenever possible. Geoff + I are both musicians and I am a Motown fanatic — Silkee Smoove is legit. I felt like Bill Withers + Stevie Wonder were at our wedding. Even my mom was dancing (that does not happen).

If you're looking for an incredibly friendly group of super talented musicians who will make your wedding or event unforgettable, look no further. Even now, people still ask me how they're doing and if they're still playing. They are. Book them now.
